Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our products and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have completed your selections, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for a few details that are required to complete the order.
We accept card payments, including Visa and Mastercard. If you are shopping from outside the UK, just place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your local currency.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. If you do not wish to pay online, please contact us to arrange payment by an alternative method.
If you have made a mistake in your order and are unable to correct it in the shopping cart, please contact us and we will correct it for you.
On receipt of your order, we will confirm that the order has been received. This does not indicate that the order has been accepted and a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we despatch the order and send you an invoice. Cancellations will be accepted up to the point of despatch.
We reserve the right to amend prices or withdraw a product (temporarily or permanently) up to the point of despatch. In the case of a change in price, we will always contact you to obtain your acceptance of the new price before proceeding with the order.
Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling net, exclusive of VAT and packed ex-works. Overseas orders are priced ex-works. Sales to EU member states that are not VAT exempt will be subject to VAT at current rates. At Endeavour Speciality Chemicals Ltd, we do our utmost to ensure our prices stay current but reserve the right to change prices without prior notice. Written price quotations, when requested, are valid for 30 days.
All orders are subject to a standard delivery charge which will be dependant on the non-hazardous/hazardous nature of the item and the delivery address. Delivery options will be available at the “Checkout” stage of your order.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the expected lead time and the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders invoiced to the UK, VAT is added to the total order cost at the standard rate applicable at the time of invoice. Sales to destinations in EU member states that are not VAT exempt will also be subject to VAT at current rates. All other overseas sales are VAT free.
Credit card payments for orders placed on our website are handed by Protx Secure Online Payments using a secure and encrypted connection. The processing of your payment from your credit card is done by Protx and Endeavour Speciality Chemicals Ltd do not hold any credit card information.
Endeavour Speciality Chemicals Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to return any item in your order within 7 days of despatch for a refund. Inform us of the return by email or telephone, quoting the Invoice Number, and we will issue a Returns Number. Please quote the Returns Number on the returned package and in all correspondence. A “Returned Goods Fee” of 20% of the net value of the goods will be applied to cover administration costs. Your refund will be paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods subject to the clauses below.
You are responsible for the cost and the risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should have adequate insurance to cover the value of the goods. You are also responsible for ensuring that the package meets all legislative requirements for the carriage of the goods, particularly any goods classified as hazardous as they are prohibited by post.
Any goods returned must be in the original container and unopened. This Returns Policy does not affect your rights when the goods are faulty.

Definition of Terms
In these Standard Conditions of Sale, the following terms are defined:
"Seller" means Endeavour Speciality Chemicals Ltd
"Buyer" means any person, firm or company purchasing "the Goods" or "the Services" from the "Seller"
"The Goods" means the goods, products or materials which shall be the subject of the contract between the "Seller" and the "Buyer"
"The Services" means the work, advice or information provided by the "Seller" to the "Buyer" which shall be the subject of the contract between the "Seller" and the "Buyer"
"Conditions" means the conditions, clauses and statements set out in these Conditions of Sale
All quotations, all offers and all orders accepted by the seller are governed by these Conditions which over-ride and exclude any other terms or conditions stipulated or incorporated or referred to by the Buyer
These Conditions apply to all sales and supplies of the Goods and the Services by the Seller and supersede any other conflicting terms or conditions appearing in the Seller's advertisements, catalogues, website or other literature relating to the Goods and the Services
No alteration or addition to these Conditions shall be incorporated whether in the order or in any negotiations or otherwise unless expressly agreed in writing by an authorised representative of the Seller
All quotations, tenders and all offer to sell are subject to withdrawal or amendment at any time prior to the Seller's acceptance of the Buyer's order
The Seller shall not be bound by any clerical or arithmetical errors in any price list, invoice, statement, quotation or other documentation whatsoever
The Buyer acknowledges that there are no representations outside these Conditions and the express written terms of the contract which have induced the Buyer to enter into the contract
The time of delivery shall not be the essence of the contract and failure by the Seller to make delivery on any particular date shall not entitle the Buyer to terminate the contract or refuse the delivery or to claim for any expense, loss of profits or other consequential losses whatsoever
The delivery address must be stated on the Buyer's official purchase order and any changes to the stated delivery address must be made in writing at least 2 days before the delivery date
The Buyer shall advise the Seller at the time of placing an official purchase order of any restrictions denying the Seller reasonable access to the stated delivery address
Delivery to or collection by any carrier to the destination indicated by the Buyer shall be deemed to be delivery of the goods and due performance of the Seller's obligations
The price of the goods or services will be the Seller's quoted price in Pounds Sterling or where no price is quoted the price listed in the Seller's current price list at the date of despatch
The Buyer, if based in the UK, shall in addition to the total price be liable to pay any Value Added Tax that may be payable and imposed on the Goods and Services
Prices quoted for delivery within mainland UK are delivered prices unless otherwise stated e.g. for online sales, with the exception of consignments or deliveries with a value of less than £100, which will be subject to a delivery charge at the discretion of the "Seller".
Prices quoted for delivery outside mainland UK are ex works prices unless otherwise specified in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce Incoterms where applicable.
Where the Buyer has been quoted special pricing for a specific contract, this special price must be quoted on the Buyer's official purchase order at the time of placing the order. If the buyer fails to quote the special price on their official purchase order, any subsequent amendment to the price is at the discretion of the Seller and in any case no such amendment will be made once payment has been received
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices without notice at any time before delivery to the Buyer to reflect any changes to its costs resulting from any alteration in or addition to the Buyer's requirements; the Buyer's lack of instructions; any interruptions, delays or additional or overtime work arising from causes for which the Seller is not directly responsible including variations in the cost of supply or manufacture and fluctuations in exchange rates
Unless otherwise stated on the Seller's invoice or otherwise agreed in writing, the Buyer shall make payment for the Goods and Services no later than net 30 days from the date of invoice
Failure by the Buyer to pay on or before the due date shall entitle the Seller, without prejudice to its other rights and remedies, to withhold or cancel subsequent deliveries and to charge the Buyer interest on overdue accounts from the due date until payment is made. Interest shall accrue on the amount outstanding at the rate of 2% above base rate of Barclays Bank PLC from time to time in force
Complaints
No claims regarding alleged defects to Goods shall be considered by the Seller unless;
In the case of damage or loss in transit or shortage the Buyer advises the Seller in writing of same within 48 hours of delivery; and
In other cases:
the Goods concerned are inspected by the Buyer and the Buyer advises the Seller's sales office of the alleged defects within one week of delivery in writing; and
if the Buyer shall fail to give such notice the Goods shall be deemed to be in accordance with Agreement and the Buyer shall be bound to accept delivery and make payment accordingly
Subject to Clause (a) and (b) above defective Goods shall be replaced, provided that the goods are proved to be defective to the entire satisfaction of the Seller (and it's opinion shall be conclusive) but no claim for expenditure upon any such Goods, loss of orders, loss of profits or for any other consequential loss or damage whatsoever will be accepted by the Seller and any liability in this respect is expressly excluded
All contracts (including those for annual or other period related requirements) and orders placed on the Buyer's official purchase order are legally binding contracts whereby the Buyer states an intent to purchase and the Seller agrees an intent to supply Goods and/or Services at the agreed price.
The Seller shall endeavour to fulfil the contract in full and on time. However, failure to supply on time [see Clause 3 a)] or in full shall not entitle the Buyer to terminate the contract or refuse the delivery or to claim for any expense, loss of profits or other consequential losses whatsoever.
Where annual or period related contracts are in place, the Buyer commits to take the specified quantity of Goods and/or Service within the specified time period in order to receive the contract price. In the event of the Buyer failing to purchase the specified quantity within the specified time period, the Seller reserves the right to fulfil the supply of any outstanding quantity at the end of the time period with full payment under these terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing. Should the Seller agree to waive this right, then the Seller reserves the right to charge a price commensurate with the quantity actually purchased by the Buyer within the specified period.
The Seller reserves the right not to amend or cancel any contracts or orders once the Goods have been despatched or the Services have been completed. In the event that the Seller agrees to such an amendment or cancellation, the Seller is entitled to claim from the Buyer any undue expenses incurred in the relation to the amendment or cancellation.
Custom Synthesis and Contract R&D
All contracts and orders placed on the Buyer's official purchase order in relation to Custom Synthesis and Contract R&D Services are subject to the following conditions in addition to those stated in Section 7.1:
Any costs incurred by the Seller including, but not exclusively, materials, equipment, labour, administration, licensing or any other costs directly related to the contract or order prior to any amendment or cancellation shall be fully reimbursed by the Buyer unless otherwise stated in writing.
Where the Seller accepts a contract or order on the basis of "invoice on supply only", the Seller retains the right to charge for costs incurred up the point of amendment or cancellation by the Buyer. Where the contract or order is amended or cancelled by the Seller, no charge will be made to the Buyer for costs directly attributable to the amendment or cancellation or for Goods and/or Services not received.
Passing of Risk and Retention of Title of the Goods
No warranty is given by the Seller that the Goods are suitable for any purpose other than that specified by the Seller in trade literature or otherwise in writing. The Seller shall not be liable if the Buyer uses the Goods for any other purpose.
The risk in the goods shall pass to the Buyer upon acceptance of delivery or at such earlier time in accordance with International Chamber of Commerce Incoterms where applicable.
The property in the Goods shall remain with the Seller until full payment of all monies owed to it by the Buyer for the Goods shall have been received.
Until payment in full has been made, the Buyer shall hold the Goods only as the Seller's bailee and shall store the Goods in the recommended storage conditions so as to be identifiable as the Seller's property.
If before payment in full as aforesaid the Buyer sells the Goods or any products incorporating the Goods, the Buyer shall hold the proceeds of the sale (or the proportion of such proceeds representative of the value of the Goods) upon trust for the Seller absolutely until payment in full has been received.
Force Majeure
The Seller shall not be liable for any breach of this Agreement caused by the Seller's inability to produce, supply transport or otherwise provide the materials or articles required for the performance of the Agreement caused directly or indirectly by events outside the Seller's reasonable control including without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, war hostilities, government action, breakdown, delay in transportation, any form of labour dispute, fire, flood or act of God.
Severability
If any of the terms or conditions within this agreement are deemed to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, all other terms and conditions will remain as valid, not affected and enforceable
